What Wally collects, and what it does not.
Wally is a Chrome extension that looks for product pages (a product name and a price). It does not read your email, your Amazon account, or pages that are not products.
On your device
Recent saves (product title, the price you saw, cheaper store, dollar amount) are stored in Chrome local storage on this computer. You can clear them from the extension settings. Wally does not build a cross-site taste profile.
When a product is detected
The extension sends the product title and the price shown on the page to wally.ai, which queries Google Shopping and returns cheaper matches. We log the query, source price, and result counts to operate and debug the service. We do not sell this data.
What we do not do
Wally does not apply coupon codes, does not inject on Gmail / social feeds / docs, and does not require an account to check a price. Optional sign-in on wally.ai is separate from the extension’s on-device saves.
